Althenia

Althenia is a personal project created for dancer and choreographer Loïc Dubois. Upon returning from a spiritual journey in Peru, Loïc felt a profound calling to express rebirth, a shedding of the old self and a reconnection to something purer, wilder, and infinitely larger than us.

Through this film, he wished to embody renewal, freedom, and a powerful disconnection from the noise of society, to return to an elemental bond between body, spirit, and nature.

We filmed this piece in the French Alps, where the raw landscapes became both witness and partner to his movement. The film was later presented on a retro-projector during his exhibition in Switzerland in October 2025, immersing the audience in an intimate visual and emotional experience.
